Q-Logic Subwoofer Enclosures are the logical answer to your car audio questions.
At the 1996 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Q-Logic introduced
a program which has become the industry standard for matching subwoofers with the proper enclosure. It's a simple yet precise system which allows you to make the crucial
match between your favorite drivers and the right Q-Logic enclosure.
Here's how the system works:
We have collected the specs from most major woofer manufacturers and divided the drivers and our enclosures into four "types". Type 1 Drivers work with Type 1 Enclosures,Type 2 Drivers work with Type 2 Enclosures, etc.... We at
MMX can answer your questions concerning any drivers you'd like to match to
an enclosure. The types are as follows:
Type 1 Enclosures: Use with drivers designed for small sealed enclosures.
The new Q-Logic Tubes are also Type 1 Enclosures.
Type 2 Enclosures: Use with drivers designed for medium sealed or small vented enclosures.
Type 3 Enclosures: Use with drivers designed for large sealed or vented enclosures.
